The Fresh Perspective

New Jersey is facing critical challenges in education, affordability, and veteran affairs. I am committed to ensuring that our tax dollars are used effectively to support our students, families, and veterans. By advocating for responsible spending, reinvesting in essential programs, and implementing policies that prioritize well-being and opportunity, we can create a better future for all New Jersey residents.

I will take these concerns directly to Trenton and fight for the changes we need to restore affordability, educational excellence, and support for our veterans.

  • Families in LD12 are being crushed by the cost of living—skyrocketing rent, unaffordable childcare, outrageous utility bills, and healthcare that drains savings. Nearly half of renters here are spending over 30% of their income just to keep a roof over their heads. That’s not sustainable—and it’s not acceptable.

I’m running for State Assembly to fight for practical, people-first solutions that make life affordable again.

    Here’s my plan:

✔️ Expand property tax relief to help seniors and long-time residents stay in their homes
✔️ Support first-time buyers and small businesses by reforming zoning laws to increase affordable housing
✔️ Crack down on predatory landlords and corporate rent-gouging
✔️ Lower utility and healthcare costs so families don’t have to choose between medicine and meals
✔️ Invest in local farms to expand food access and fight corporate price gouging
✔️ Support affordable childcare by lowering taxes for childcare facilities and increasing child tax credits

This is about dignity, stability, and giving working families the breathing room they deserve. In LD12, no one should have to struggle just to survive. Together, we’ll build a future where everyone can thrive.

  • Our students and schools in L12 are facing severe budget cuts, which affect the quality of our schools and force others to close down. New Jersey school districts have an extreme lack of funding, with Jackson alone having a $12 million shortfall. We will not sacrifice our children’s development and well-being, so we must ensure more resources to support our students and ease the burden on local communities.

I’m a parent and teacher running for State Assembly to protect our families and fund our schools.

    My Plan

✔️ Invest in Education by increasing funding to schools and programs that support students’ futures
✔️ Fix the School Funding Formula by creating a formula that includes community income and provides greater support
✔️ Enhance Student Learning by upgrading aging infrastructure and promoting programs that enhance student well-being and objective learning
✔️ Hold Districts Accountable by supporting legislation requiring reports from districts that show how funds are used and ensure they are truly helping students

We must protect our children and their future. No student in LD12 should receive an underfunded education. Together, we will create schools that fully serve all of our students.

  • New Jersey is home to over 300,000 Veterans, and despite making the ultimate sacrifice, they are treated with little dignity and respect.  They are often left to navigate a complex system of benefits and find it difficult to find any sort of support. Any kind of support they do get is often very little.

I’m running for State Assembly to support our Veterans and give them the dignity they deserve. That’s why I’m fighting to:

✔️Simplify the process for healthcare enrollment for Veterans
✔️Reduce the wait times of Veterans clinics and hospitals
    ✔️Expand qualifications for tax exemptions
✔️ Increase financial relief for Veterans

Veterans have fought for our freedoms- it’s time we fight for them. It’s not just about the fight overseas- it’s also about having a better life back home.

Let’s build a New Jersey veterans are proud to call their home.

  • New Jersey’s healthcare system is broken—and working families are paying the price. From sky-high co-pays and surprise bills to long waits and mental health care shortages, too many of us are forced to delay care or fight with insurance companies just to get what we need.

In LD12, seniors, families, and young people are being squeezed from every side—by understaffed hospitals, rising out-of-pocket costs, and insurance rules that put profits before people.

I believe healthcare should be affordable, accessible, and centered on patients, not paperwork.

    Here’s what I’ll fight for:
✔️ Ban surprise medical bills and eliminate junk fees for essential care
✔️ Expand mental health access through school-based care and more providers
✔️ Invest in nursing education to address the workforce shortage
✔️ Cut insurance red tape—like unnecessary prior authorizations
✔️ Increase transparency of insurance claims and medical costs
✔️ Hold big pharmaceutical companies accountable for driving up costs

No more delays. No more denials. Healthcare should be a right, not a privilege—no matter your income, background, or ZIP code.

  • Mega-warehouse complexes are invading townships across LD12 and the rest of Central Jersey. Communities like Upper Freehold and Millstone are under assault from these warehouses as they pollute our land, congest traffic and continue to develop, unchecked. Communities are being cut out of the conversation and I’m here to put that to an end

I will stand strong alongside the residents in LD12 in their fight against unchecked warehouse expansion. I will work hard to make sure that communities have a larger seat at the table, and make sure that we know the impacts of these warehouses.

As your Assembly member I will:

✔️ Cut back on warehouse expansion until we fully understand its effects on our communities
✔️ Require complete transparency of development plans if new warehouses are constructed
✔️ Protect our farmland from being endangered by further development
✔️ Preserve our historic sites from obliteration by warehouse expansion
✔️ Support our communities when they fight back against new development
✔️ Hold warehouses to high standards to ensure the safety of our communities

It’s not just about fighting back against traffic congestion, it’s about showing New Jersey that LD12 stands strong in the face of expansion by outside business interests. It’s about people’s right to know what’s happening in their neighborhood. Most importantly it’s about fulfilling my duty as a resident of LD12.

  • Too many families in LD12 are dealing with crumbling water systems, unreliable internet, and constant public transport delays. Our infrastructure is outdated, and it's hurting our  economy, health, and daily lives.

I’ve heard from residents frustrated by water main breaks, storm flooding, and broadband outages that disrupt school, work, and small businesses. These aren’t just inconveniences—they’re barriers to opportunity.

That’s why I’m fighting for real investment in our communities:

✔️ Clean drinking water and upgraded sewer systems
✔️ Reliable public transit that runs on time
✔️ Stronger electric grids ready for acclimate changes in weather
✔️ Broadband internet access that’s fast, affordable, and always on

This isn’t just about pipes and wires—it’s about protecting families, supporting local businesses, and making LD12 a place where everyone can thrive.

Let’s stop patching up the past and start building a future that works—for all of us.

  • LD12 is being choked by unchecked warehouse sprawl, rising truck pollution, and disappearing farmland. Families are left with dirty air, flood-prone streets, and skyrocketing utility bills—all while being shut out of decisions that shape their neighborhoods.

I’m fighting for an environmental policy that puts people and homeowners first.

    Here’s my plan:
✔️ Support a moratorium on warehouse development until we understand the real impact on our health, traffic, and local businesses
✔️ Invest in clean energy and utility upgrades to lower costs and reduce emissions
✔️ Protect farmland and open space through Green Acres and Farmland Preservation Programs
✔️ Fund the Next Generation Farmer Program to support young farmers and food security
✔️ Hold polluters accountable with permit oversight and stronger community input

We need smart growth, clean air, and a voice for every resident in planning our future and retaining our title as the “Garden State.”
